Cast finalized for Dharmesh Mehta’s ‘R.K.Laxman Ki Duniya’ on SAB TV

As reported earlier, Dharmesh Mehta is producing a new show for SAB TV which is based on the novel written by India's noted cartoonist R.K. Laxman, with the working title ‘R.K.Laxman Ki Duniya’. And the latest buzz is that the cast of the show has been finalized.

Sources reveal that the finalized cast includes Paresh Ganatra (‘Baa Bahu Aur Baby’ fame), Honey  Chayya, Jaydeep Shah, Deepak Gheewala, Shreya More (currently seen in ‘Chajje Chajje Ka Pyaar’), Pranav Pradhan, Kajal Shah and Mamta Dutta (who played the ghost in ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’). Sources add that Marathi actor Atul Parchure famous for his comic antics will also play an important role in the show. Buzz is that the pilot episode of the show has already been shot.

The serial is an adaptation of R K Laxman's ‘Common Man’ cartoon series and Honey Chhaya will play the role of quintessential common man.
